The advanced development and research group in the CTO office is chartered to research and incubate emerging technologies in networking and distributed computing for the modern data center, covering High Performance Computing (HPC), WEB 2.0, Storage, Big Data, Cloud, SW Defined Network, Network Function Virtualization and more. The group is looking for leading researchers in the fields of computer architecture, operating systems, parallel and distributed computing, networking, and algorithms.
The advanced development group is responsible for developing proof-of-concept implementations of new technologies, and thereafter guiding their incorporation in company products. The group focuses on software development and architecture, ranging from application behavioral analysis and algorithms, network simulations, middleware and API design, down to implementing OS subsystems, device drivers, FW, and HW modeling.
In addition, group members are involved in business development, standards committees, and cooperation with both academic and industry research institutions. Individuals in the group must be proficient in SW development as well as research.
- B.Sc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or distinguished undergraduate students
- M.Sc/PhD - advantage
