  • Overview

    The Sr. Channel Inside Sales Representative works as a key member of the sales team by generating leads, pursuing lead inquiries and prospecting potential customers.  Create and recognize opportunities and complete the sale of products.  Provide support to field sales managers to keep account activities current; assist with and close sales; and identify and solicit new business opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide advice and assistance by forwarding literature, negotiating pricing, determining lead-time and closing sales.
    • Work in partnership with outside field sales personnel to ensure a quick response to customer inquiries and issues, and proactively determine customer needs and appropriate sales strategies to meet business development goals.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with VARs.
    • Create a cadence with top VARs around regular business updates.
    • May participate in trade shows.
    • Satisfy internal reporting requirements by submitting reports and records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain and update the territory pipeline forecast.
    • Leverage Saleforce.com to efficiently run our business.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5+ years inside sales experience
    • Knowledge of datacenter trends, base knowledge of server storage and networking elements  
    • Must have previous experience in providing customer support on software and hardware products
    • Proficiency with CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com
    • Outstanding verbal, written and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast pasted environment while maintaining accuracy
    • Strong time management and organization skills
    • Positive attitude, highly motivated, personal commitment, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
    • Self-motivated, outgoing, confident personality, comfortable in dealing with clients and other employees
    • Act as a leader to the Channel Inside Sales Representative team.
