    Mellanox is looking for a top-notch Director, Corporate Events, to join our high-energy Marketing team. This is a full-time position with broad responsibility over trade show selection, planning, and execution.


    The Director, Corporate Events is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing trade shows and corporate events to drive global awareness and engagement with Mellanox. Working with senior marketing executives, this person will be responsible for pre and post-event marketing strategies, lead follow-up, and ultimately ROI from event activities.


    The position requires superior organization, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as being able to manage resources and budgets effectively and creatively. The ideal candidate must be an experienced event marketing professional with strong hands-on experience planning and executing events and programs. The candidate should also be comfortable with logistics, vendor management, and negotiations. Finally, the candidate should possess knowledge of B2B sales cycles and a solid understanding of driving engagement and lead generation through events. 


    • Plan and manage events (tradeshows, including coordination of partner conferences and sponsorships as well as internal events)
    • Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on event programs
    • Coordinate event environment (signage, branding etc.) and manage the execution of events onsite
    • Negotiates contracts and manages relationships with outside vendors
    • Work with exhibit house for booth design and install
    • Analyze event operations and prepare and implement recommendations for improving operational efficiencies within the events
    • Provide post event analysis, budget recaps, internal and client feedback and incorporate learning into future event plans
    • Create and manage budget for events


    • Bachelor's Degree required; Marketing degree preferred
    • 5-7 years post-undergraduate experience managing events, tradeshows, seminars, and corporate marketing activities to support demand creation
    • Ability to work closely with Marketing to develop event messaging, collateral, and demo materials
    • Comfort working with Sales teams pre and post event to align tradeshow objectives and follow-up
    • Ability to travel worldwide to coordinate and manage events
    • Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiation, and logistics
    • Familiarity with B2B / technology industry events preferred
    • Experience with marketing automation/ESP platforms preferred
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
    • An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results

    • A self-motivated individual; a good team player; someone who takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
    • Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting
    • High degree of creativity and a passion for event planning
    • Successful track record working in a team environment
