  • Overview

    We are looking for a Principle VP Security Architecture to lead our security technology team, reporting to the CTO. VP Security Architecture will develop and drive execution of Mellanox security vision to deliver Mellanox-based interconnect products to build the most secure data center. In this position VP Security Architecture will with Mellanox business team to collaborate with potential customers, drive execution by Mellanox engineering team (Silicon, Hardware and Software) in development security technologies and be instrumental in development business relations with security vendors to deliver full security solution to the market.

    VP Security Architecture should maintain deep knowledge of security industry and technology trends and standards, be center of security knowledge in the company, research and develop state of the art Prof of Concepts. Evolve and evangelize Mellanox security technology vision and strategy

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will possess the following experience –

    • Architect, design, and develop system architecture and software solutions
    • Proven track record of building systems from scratch
    • Excellent understanding of Operating Systems concepts and kernel components
    • Excellent understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies
    • Prior experience in the Security space including aspects of desktop and server security
    • Influence Mellanox products and industry through deep technical and business knowledge of various market segments and of best-of-breed security strategies

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience in systems software architecture and development of security related products
    • Strong opinions on software security and an ability to present/defend those opinions to both technical as well as non-technical audiences
    • Extensive experience creating, presenting, and refining clear, compelling technical specifications from top-level system architecture documents down to low-level implementation guides and test plans
    • Experience working with open source tools
    • Experience with embedded platforms
    • Experience with hardware-based security mechanisms (TPM, TrustZone, Secure Boot, SGX, etc.)
    • Dep knowledge of Cryptography fundamentals and Public Key Infrastructure
    • Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions to make it better
    • Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
    • Strong listening and question based analysis skills
    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
    • Strong ability to work in highly-matrixed organization
