    Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced Ethernet Technical Pre-Sales Engineer to work with customers, OEM and channel partners to provide solution designs, conduct on-site hands-on demonstrations and drive proof-of-concept initiatives with strategic accounts.


    The role is responsible for driving optimized architectural infrastructure for customer cloud, datacenter, storage and HPC projects through Mellanox Intelligent End-to-End Interconnect Solutions.


    • Cover Korea Pre-Sales activities as part of APAC SE team
    • Create awareness and update of Mellanox solutions to existing/new customers and to drive channel pre-sales enablement.
    • Analyze customer requirements and recommend creative architectures and solutions that implement Mellanox solutions.
    • Provide constructive feedback to engineering regarding product requirements, support tools, support methodologies
    • Provide an effective bridge between end users and Mellanox engineering team
    • Assist in architecture definition with channel partners/customers and provide technical support for evaluation and proof of concept projects to reach successful completion
    • Maintain close contact with engineers and management at customers and provide status and new project information


    • Bachelor of Computer Science, Electrical, Software or Computer Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years in technical sales/support experience or equivalent
    • Experience in low latency / high bandwidth interconnect such as InfiniBand for HPC, Storage, High Frequency Trading, Cloud a plus
    • Experience in 10G/25G/40G/100G Ethernet project and SDN a plus
    • Technical disciplines, e.g., infrastructure architecture in an enterprise data center, information technology, software development, or hardware architecture/design
    • Experience working on Service Providers and Financial Institutions market segment a plus
    • Good verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to handle and resolve critical customer issues/problems resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Business level English
