  • Overview

    Mellanox is looking for a talent SW Networking QA Engineers to join our End-to-End Switches Verification team.

    The ideal candidate will take part in wide areas of End-To-End systems testing, networking and Automation,

    writing & executing tests, report & debug on Mellanox Switches Products.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and Execute testing procedures for new and existing products with emphasis on emulation of customer environments.
      • This may include building Data Center clusters and Cloud environments, large scale networks emulation, and other vendors interoperability tests
    • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools in Python
    • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
    • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
    • Root-cause software and hardware that do not conform to specifications
    • Clear verbal and written communication
    • Be a strong advocate of software quality
    • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

    Qualifications

    Education

    • BA/BSc in Computer Science or Electric Engineer

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Good OOP programing skills
    • Thorough understanding of OSI model
    • Good understanding of following protocols :
      • ARP/RARP, ICMP, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP/S
    • Basic familiarization with Linux and windows operating systems
    • Familiarization with PC / servers hardware components
    • Advantages:

      • Relevant Networking experienced from Army
    • Fast learner with outstanding technical skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
