    Mellanox Technologies is looking for a strong Software Application Engineer, with background in Ethernet and networking, who is looking to expand his horizons and work closely to customers in order to deliver Mellanox’s next generations solutions for the cloud, Web-2 and enterprise data center.  The position includes extensive interfaces with most Technical, and Business units in the company.


    • Work as customer technical expert,  work to sharpen customer solutions and solve their technical challenges.
    • Run and own proof of concept activities introducing Mellanox's products and integrating them to new/existing accounts
    • Debug SW issues and provide solutions to customer.
    • Lead complex escalations with customers, build and lead engineering task force, build debug strategies and lead them to execution, while communicating to customer.
    • Provide constructive feedback to engineering and marketing regarding product requirements, customer experience, support tools
    • Provide to Support teams with training, be the learning interface between R&D and support team


    The position involves the ability to solve complex multidisciplinary issues, and when required manage escalations with multiple engineering groups, and facing customer.

    • S.C in Computer Engineering /Software Engineering /Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum of three years computer software development or Tier3/4 support of such products.

    • Strong knowledge in Ethernet (L2 & L3) – a must
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to handle and resolve critical customer issues/problems resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Good verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers
    • Knowledge of Linux is an advantage
