Overview

 Mellanox Technologies is seeking an experienced Sales Manager who will support our key client (Lenovo) in selling Mellanox products and interconnect solutions through the customer.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include business planning, developing strategies and ensuring alignment between executives and field sales. You'll work to build and then own strategic relationships within the  customer sales organization. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, along with managing the day-to-day interactions, you'll be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption.

 

In addition, you will:

  • Introduce and sell our Ethernet and Infiniband portfolio into and through Lenovo Direct Sellers
  • Present the Mellanox Business Value both internally and externally to help influence customer decision process
  • Achieve and exceed recurring revenue objectives in your assigned territory
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, and closing deals in collaboration with Lenovo Technical Selling community
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to move a large number of transaction simultaneously through the sales pipeline
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information, assuring progress through the Sales Funnel
  • Leverage the cloud based CRM system to build business, manage opportunities, and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
  • Nurture relationships, build value, handle objections, create urgency, and collaborate strategically with sales leadership to close new business opportunities

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent training and work-related experience)
  • 10+ years’ sales experience in networking / storage networking or similar
  • Lenovo Field Sales experience is preferred 
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions
  • Documented history of achieving and exceeding sales quota of 1 million dollars/year
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills with the strong ability to influence others
