Mellanox Technologies is looking for Electronic Design Automation Engineer to define, develop and maintain next generation Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools as well as other engineering applications used during the IC design and development process but not limited to.

The focus is to develop efficient and harmonized solutions which improve productivity and quality of Analog/Circuit R&D design teams work and reduce Time-To-Market.


  • Define, develop and maintain integrated circuit verification tools (ERC/LVS/DRC and more), tools for DRM/HPC environment(s) and general purpose full-stack applications
  • Gather requirements from customers for further tools/design flows enhancements from R&D teams
  • Integrate Company design flows into enterprise EDA tools like as Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Calibre and similar
  • Train R&D teams on internal tools and design flows
  • Document work methodology, design flows and tools


  • Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Programming skills in C++/Java with solid understanding of object-oriented design and patterns
  • Experience with using C/C++ flex, bison or similar parsing technologies
  • Experience in shell scripting (bash/csh) and scripting programming languages (Perl/Python/Tcl) in Unix-based environment
  • Familiarity with API client code development (REST/SOAP) and various data formats (JSON/YAML/XML and CSV)
  • Experience working with data from various sources: RDBMSs, Web services and other data sources
  • Familiarity with data visualization and data analysis
  • Familiarity with version control systems like SVN, Perforce, CVS, or Git in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Familiarity with various aspects of parallel and high performance computing
  • Experience with the design of solutions implementation based on customer’s requirements
  • Effective trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • Personal: Fast ramp up, quick learning, high motivation, independent 


  • Master's, Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering
  • Experience with development and debugging in highly-scalable, distributed, large multi-node and multi-site environment
  • Extensive knowledge of HPC resource managers and schedulers, in particular UGE DRM
  • Familiarity with a NoSQL Database such as Cassandra, MongoDB or Dynamo DB
  • Experience with Enovia Synchronicity version control system
  • Hands on Layout and schematic, along with knowledge of Verification tools for DRC, LVS, etc.
  • Experience with Cadence SKILL coding
