Overview

Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced Sales Manager in the UK / Nordic region for Ethernet Products.  The position is responsible for growing Mellanox’s business with end customers and sales channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • In this high profile and challenging role, you will be responsible for both the strategy and the development of our new business sales of Ethernet products.
  • You will be charged with developing and expanding new business partners and projects opportunities, as well as customer awareness in this field with planning, forecasting and executing sales activities on Ethernet product lines for the UK / Nordic market.
  • Developing new business and channel partners, as well as account relationships with key people within potential client organizations
  • Understanding and presenting Mellanox value propositions (corporate, positioning, products, technologies, capabilities) to customers, resellers and distributors
  • Developing business and developing proposals for presentation to customers and partners, coordinating account resources with representatives from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development.
  • Participate in trade shows and make presentations, as required.
  • Managing co-marketing opportunities with channel partners and third-party allies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years "current" experience in Sales / Business Development in UK market.
  • Selling systems with preference to network equipment (Ethernet and/or storage network) to enterprise market.
  • Experience in engaging Tier 1 resellers and generating substantial business in the Ethernet switch and network interface card product market in UK / Nordic market.
  • Sales track record in the datacenter, cloud, telecommunications and the enterprise markets
  • Previous experience selling into large enterprise companies desired.
  • Strong motivation for generating revenue of Ethernet products; aggressive and diligent attitude in reaching business objective; ability to develop business plans, solution knowledge and understanding the customer’ needs.
  • Focus will be on closing skills and meeting business goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience managing Distribution channel accounts a plus
  • Requires excellent oral and written communications skills including effective presentation and negotiation skills.
