Overview

Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer Team Leader with experience in the datacenter and networking area.

 

Responsibilities

  • Tier 3 support to the Company’s customers: installing Mellanox products and supporting systems
  • Develop & present technical & comprehensive solutions to customer problems including the project management of complex installations
  • Deliver lecture-based and hands-on training courses for customers or partners (resellers, distributors, and OEMs)
  • Problem reporting, escalation, replication, and resolution management
  • Response to customer technical inquiries
  • Site visits and conference calls with customers and partners.
  • Developing & refining internal processes to improve support efficiency and productivity

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • at least 3 years of experience in providing T3 Customer Support for hardware & software products.
  • Experience with leading a technical team.
  • Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience with network equipment and network protocols including IP, L2, L3 protocols
  • Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience with LAN Switching/routing (STP,MSTP,MLAG,VPC,VRRP,LACP)
  • Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Routing - IP Routing protocols (OSFP, BGP, PIM)
  • knowledge of Linux/Unix (Administration level)
  • Experience with operating and configuring major vendors’ network equipment such as switches and routers
  • Analysis and diagnosis of highly complicated networking problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation/oral skills

 

Advantages:

 

  • Ethernet (10/40 GigE) and/or Infiniband
  • Clustering or Data-Center technologies including Upper Layer Protocols (i.e., MPI)
  • Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision
  • Candidates should have a minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, or Electrical or Computer Engineering
