Overview

Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced Federal Industry Sales Hunter based in Austin, TX with strong experience selling ethernet switch solutions into the datacenter. In this high profile and challenging role you will be reporting to the Senior Sales Manager and will be responsible for driving revenue through direct interaction with customers and channel partners, focused on promoting Mellanox solutions for 10/25/40/50 and 100Gb Ethernet solutions.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for identifying & cultivating relationships with key individuals at client organizations through value-add selling and promotion of Mellanox ethernet solutions. Tactical responsibilities include; identifying high value customer targets, working with customer and channel partner contacts to deliver a unique value proposition, coordinating internal resources to establish successful strategy to meet customer objectives and achieving assigned sales quotas.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Must be a strategic thinker with ability to execute on tactical goals
  • Should be able to initiate and develop strong relationships with others
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • May require travel up to 25-50%, or as needed to be successful
  • Must be local to Austin, TX area (or willing to commute within the Austin, TX area)
  • Due to the nature of this role engaging with clients supporting the U.S. Government, we require candidates must possess U.S. Citizenship

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Federal Industry technology sales
  • Successful track record of meeting & exceeding 10+ million in sales quotas annually
  • Experience selling to large Federal OEM customers who are seeking technology and business solutions that drive ethernet datacenter offerings
  • Ability to develop successful sales and business strategies and execute on that plan
  • Experience in Technology Solution Sales required
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to show proof of U.S. Citizenship (due to the nature of the role working with US Government clients)

 Education: 

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
