Overview

Mellanox is looking for an excellent SW Verification Team Leader for Mellanox’ SW Ethernet group.

The person will be in charge of Verification Team of Mellanox Software Ethernet Group. Will closely work with Mellanox’s development and architecture teams responsible for Ethernet products and gain deep understanding of Mellanox’ products and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the responsibility for delivering Ethernet features of Mellanox OS product to QA teams
  • Participate in features design reviews to challenge the development from testing perspective
  • Manage the features tests planning and development of the automated tests for the SW Ethernet R&D features verifications
  • Define, develop and maintain verification infrastructure and regression tests suites of the SW Ethernet group
  • Manage the verification team both personally and professionally
  • Guide the team in producing a highly maintainable verification code and robust infrastructure for automated tests
  • Work with continuous integration and regression tools to automate builds, deployments, and execution of test scripts
  • Report and track defect using Defect Management tools
  • Support other types of quality targets such as performance, load and stress testing
  • As being part of the R&D drive for high quality thinking and constantly improvement

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in computer science or SW/computer Engineering
  • Expert in Python - must
  • At least 3 years of experience in SW verification teams
  • Strong knowledge in Linux and Networking area
  • Strong design, coding and debugging skills in all aspects (hands-on)
  • Enjoys working as part of an engaging, collaborative team
  • Strong analytical, debugging and problem solving skills
  • Creative, motivated and driven worker

 

Advantages

  • Experience in managing small to medium teams (leading SW verification teams is a plus)
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Ethernet, VLANs, TCP/UDP/IP, QoS, L2-L3 protocols
  • Experience in SW development, preferably python, C/C++
  • Experience with CI methodology & servers (e.g. Gerrit, Jenkins etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew & English (working with cross site-team).
