Overview

Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced business development manager for drive Ethernet products business in Japan.. The position is responsible for growing Mellanox’s business with end customers in Service Provider segment

Responsibilities

  • In this high profile and challenging role, you will be primarily responsible for growing Mellanox Ethernet business in the Service Provider segment in Japan.
  • Seek out new business opportunities and develop account relationships with the key people within the potential client organizations.
  • The role will focus on large high touch accounts, working on deals with moderate to high complexity which can potentially include the entire portfolio of Mellanox products.
  • Act as evangelist for Mellanox technologies and create a preference for Mellanox products and solutions.
  • Responsible for GTM strategy for Mellanox in the Service provider segment in Japan. The role will also be charged with developing and expanding new business partners.
  • Developing business proposals, delivering presentation to customers and partners, coordinating account resources with representatives from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development.
  • Participate in partner/industry trade events and proactively drive focused enablement activities.
  • Managing co marketing opportunities with channel partners and third party allies

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in Sales / Business Development in Japan.
  • Experienced in selling IT infrastructure solutions, with preference to networking (Ethernet and/or storage network), to customers in Japan.
  • Proven sales track record in the datacenter, cloud, telecommunications markets in Japan, preferred.
  • Good relationship with major vertical market, service providers. An understanding of the business issues and actual/future demand of those markets is a must.
  • Strong motivation for developing new markets and accounts; aggressive and diligent attitude in reaching business objective; ability to develop business plans, solution knowledge and understanding the customer’ needs. Focus will be on closing skills and meeting business goals.
  • A proven ability to build the link between technology and business, with a good understanding of business process and operations.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communications skills including effective presentation in English and Japanese is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline
